Many thousands of years ago a fallen angel by the name of Azazel fell to earth. Banished from the Kingdom of God he was branded an Anti-Christ and sent to walk among man for eternity. Azazel made a deal with Lucifer to steal the first book of scripture and use its powers to resurrect Lucifer from the chains of Hell and take his place as ruler of the modern world. In return Lucifer would grant Azazel with absolute power. Azazel acquired the book and used its words to unleashed hell on earth for thousands of years to come. Power and fortune were rewarded to Azazel for the work he accomplished, but that wasn’t enough. Azazel adopted the name of Sylis Hark and merged himself into the hierarchy of mankind and politics. Sylis found a loophole, through leadership, and a way to charm the masses into submission. This submission that was pivotal in the resurrection of Lucifer. Only one thing stood in the way of his master plan, a child of divine power. The book also told of the “One True Savior” that would deliver the world from evil. The one that could ruin all he had worked for. Cold, calculated, and brash, Sylis Hark is determined to destroy the child before she destroys him.

When Lilith gave birth to an extraordinary baby girl, Cassandra, and broke the curse that plagued her for a thousand years, Athen was deemed the task of hiding the child and protecting her from the knowing of Lucifer. Years passed by and Athen soon found himself struggling with the trials and tribulations of raising a teenage girl. There is little known about Ash except that she is an orphan. During “The Great Fires of The Uprising” Sylis Hark rescued Ash from a burning building in the streets of Los Angeles.
